ABOUT Jason 

Jason Mier is part chef, part photographer, with a generous dash of family. Throw in a nice glass of cabernet sauvignon or an old fashioned made with a solid aged bourbon, and watch how big his smile gets!

​

If you ask him when his kitchen career began, he will tell you he started "burning meals" for himself and his younger sister at the ripe old age of 11, when his mother announced her return to office life.

​

Fast forward a few years and over 50 countries traveled, his love for each country's cuisine, signature spirits, and liqueurs shines in his creations today. 

 

His passion led to receiving a degree from one of the top colleges in the nation for this industry, The Conrad Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management at University of Houston.

​

Rounding out his 30th year in the restaurant and hotel industry, Jason transferred this passion into what is now Mier Kitchen. Initially, he focused on extracting that inner chef with his monthly zoom cooking classes, however, Jason wanted to do more.

​

Today, Mier Kitchen now offers Personal Chef Services for that special occasion, Cooking Classes, and Consulting Services to owners & managers of restaurants, bars, and country clubs. 

​
